De' Medici is at Via Pisana 191, in the Oltrarno, the neighbourhood on the south side of the Arno where Florentines actually live. Piazza Santo Spirito is 300 metres away; Palazzo Pitti is an 8-minute walk.
We have managed both rooms directly since 2021 with no agency or automated booking system. Whoever picks up the phone is the person who knows the building, the neighbourhood, and every detail of your stay.
The building and our approach
The palazzo at Via Pisana
The building dates from the Medici period and retains original features: pietra serena arches, high ceilings and period flooring. In 2021 we restored both rooms, adding private bathrooms, fibre Wi-Fi and smart-lock entry while keeping the historic character intact.
